Our Milan exhibition in the area of Ventura Lambrate has been very succesfull! For those who had to miss it all (due to Icelandic ash clouds for instance) and as a small reminder for who visited Milan this year; this month a small report of our Autofficina-adventure!

With this exhibition, 6 different young Dutch design studio's combined their work and presented their composition in a decayed old car garage in the area of Ventura Lambrate.

Vij5 scoop | FlexVase in glass

During the Autofficina exhibition, Vij5 showed a well preserved secret: a prototype of the FlexVase in glass! At the moment we are quite busy getting the production ready for this new version of the FlexVase. The responses of our visitors in Milan were very promising allready!

The opening of our exhibition was a great success. The atmosphere of our Autofficina-inner court in combination with refreshing drinks, stylish presented food and the nice sunshine weather made our opening party "the place to be". Of course all the designers were there as well, very proud and satisfied!

Autofficina | Designhuis

After Ventura Lambrate, a selection of the Autofficina exhibition will be at the Designhuis in Eindhoven (NL). The official opening will take place at the 20th of May, 16.00h, Stadhuisplein 3 and the exhibition will last until the end of August of this year. You are very welcome!

Llus lamp | available

The Lloop lamps, by Ontwerpduo, are now also available at the Frozen Fountain in Amsterdam.

We do have a selected network of selling points in the Netherlands, but would love to sell our product collection in Europe and abroad. If you have any tips and/or advice please send us an email!

Piece of Carpet | also available in Basalt Grey

Besides the original color Stone Grey, a Piece of Carpet is also available with the colors Beige Melange, Forest Brown and Basalt Grey as top-layer!

Since TableConfetti is being made of the high-quality leftover material of the carpet, this is now also in stock with basaltgrey top layer and white and olivegreen middle-layer and stitching.

Stevia | almost approved

Vij5 allready paid special attention to the natural sweetner 'Stevia' during the Dutch Design Week 2009 where we designed a special Stevia & Milk set.

Some news about the natural sweetener Stevia in Europe: the EFSA has assessed the safety of this sweetener, extracted from plant leaves, and established an Acceptable Daily Intake for their safe use!
